How child support works in Georgia

Once the noncustodial parent is located, Georgia's Division of Child Support Services has 90 days to establish a court order. Georgia's child support agency follows the guidelines in state law, O.C.G.A. § 19-6-15, to set the amount. In Georgia, a DNA test through the child support agency requires an open and active child support case.

How to keep these papers

Keep dated copies of the papers you already have in one place, and write the day something happened on the same day. KeepMyProof is a private phone app for that: folders with checklists, the day it happened next to the day you saved it, and one PDF of a folder when someone asks.
